Description
STEAM kit includes a 3D watershed model, a topographical map of the Lake Champlain watershed, a spray bottle, "pollution" to add, 3 books, and a booklet. This kit is designed to give families the opportunity to explore our watershed-- with hands-on science activities and use scientific methods and equipment to conduct water quality field assessments. The kits are designed to be used with the Watershed Explorer Challenge published by Watershed Alliance, a Lake Champlain Sea Grant Partnership with UVM Extension and SUNY Plattsburgh. This kit focuses on watersheds and is designed to be used at home.
Target Audience
Indended audience: ages 5 and up.
